I've often wondered if other "pet parents" are buying the same items I am, or if a certain product is even worth the time. I'm a first time pet owner, having had my yorkie for almost 2 years now. Boy, has he accumulated so much stuff in that time! Tees, hoodies, Halloween costumes, balls, squeaky toys, blankets.... I could go on. He even has stuff from the baby section that he wears and/or sleeps on. Custom jammies that I know will fit, a carrier, a car seat. (no I'm not kidding) With all the time and love I spend on my bouncing baby boy, I really like to know the products I buy him will last.
The biggest problem with pet clothing I have run into is the sizing. Wow! Does sizing vary from brand to brand, shirt to shirt, or even store to store. Just looking at my yorkie's clothes drawer I see mediums, smalls, and an extra small. How does that happen?
To start things off, I have 2 things I want to just rave about.
1- Retro Tees at PetSmart by Top Paw. I just HAD TO HAVE the Gumby and Pacman tee.

As far as sizing goes, I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars. I bought a small for my pup who measures in at 12 inches for length and 13 inches for his chest. I like tees that are a bit longer, but the size difference is huge in Top Paw products. It makes me long for them to make in between sizes. The material is great. It is a light weight cotton/polyester blend. It makes for a very cool tee for the summer.
2- Goody Delightful Claw Clips.
Those of us with long haired dog breeds have a choice. Cut their hair, or put their hair up. I went with both! Short body haircut, and longer on the face. These claw clips are lifesavers. They are teeny enough that even a boy can wear them, and they are gentle on their hair. BIG BONUS! They can be found at the 99 cent store.
Great stuff for your pup!
